Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how subscription cancellations, refunds, and trial terminations work for WorkGena's AI voice receptionist service. By subscribing, you agree to the terms below. This policy is part of our Terms of Service.

2. Free Live Demo (Unlimited)

  • WorkGena does not offer a free trial of the paid product. Instead, we offer unlimited free live demo calls on our shared demo number — call anytime to hear and test the AI before you buy.
  • No signup, credit card, or commitment is required to try the demo. You can call the demo number as many times as you want.
  • The demo uses a shared demo business configuration and does not include your own business data, dedicated phone number, or dashboard access — those are only provisioned after you subscribe to a paid plan.

3. Monthly Subscription — 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

  • If you are on a paid monthly plan (Starter, Pro, or Enterprise) and are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of your first paid billing date.
  • Refund requests after 7 days of the first paid charge are not eligible for a refund.
  • Renewal charges (second month onwards) are non-refundable. Cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.
  • To request a refund, email contact@workgena.com from your registered account email with the subject line "Refund Request".

4. Cancellation

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard at app.workgena.com or by emailing us.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You will continue to have access to the Service until the cycle ends.
  • No partial or pro-rated refunds are issued for unused days in the remaining billing cycle after cancellation.
  • Once cancelled, auto-renewal is disabled and no further charges will be made.

5. Minute Recharge Packs

  • Minute recharge packs (top-ups purchased in addition to a plan) are non-refundable once purchased.
  • Unused recharge minutes expire based on the pack's validity period (as stated at time of purchase).
  • Expired minutes cannot be reinstated or exchanged for credit.

6. Enterprise & Custom Plans

Enterprise and custom-priced contracts are governed by the specific terms in the signed agreement between WorkGena and the customer. Refund and cancellation terms for such plans may differ from this standard policy and will be clearly stated in the contract.

7. Refund Processing Time

  • Approved refund requests are processed within 7–10 business days from the date of approval.
  • Refunds are credited back to the original payment method used for the purchase.
  • The time for the refund to reflect in your bank or card statement depends on your issuing bank and may take an additional 2–5 business days.
  • We will send an email confirmation once the refund has been initiated from our side.

8. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be granted in the following cases:

  • Refund request made after the 7-day window of the first paid charge.
  • Accounts terminated by us due to violation of our Terms of Service (for example, fraudulent use, illegal activity, or breach of acceptable use).
  • Any free-trial account. Trials do not involve a charge, so there is nothing to refund.
  • Recharge/top-up minute packs purchased outside of a subscription.
  • Minor service interruptions covered under our availability terms in the Terms of Service.

9. Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank. Most issues can be resolved quickly through our support channel. Unjustified chargebacks may result in permanent suspension of your account and are disputed on our behalf by our payment processors (Razorpay or Dodo Payments).

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to the registered account holder and posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
